During the Super Bowl LVI, six cryptocurrency ads ran through the TV of millions of Americans.
It is the most crypto ads that tv viewers ever witnessed. Some of them with plenty of ingenuity.
Bitbuy, Coinbase, Crypto.com,eToro, FTX, and even Bud Light had crypto investment or NFT messages.
Crypto companies worked with LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Matt Damon as advertisement figures.
During last night’s commercials, comedian Larry David appeared during an NFL break campaigning for the FTX cryptocurrency platform.
The Spot is titled “Don’t Miss Out.” The actor of Curb Your Enthusiasm plays a version of himself traveling through time as a skeptic of human inventions like the wheel, coffee, the toilet, the lightbulb, and an app to obtain safe crypto.
The meaning of the ad was simple. To play with the audience’s skepticism and show how an app can innovate crypto companies.
“We need to meet people where they are, and that means embracing skepticism,” said FTX co-founder and CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried. “A lot of people who are now the biggest advocates of crypto once had significant reservations.”
What about the ad of the QR Code?
One of the most flashy Super Bowl commercials was the Coinbase ad.
Coinbase is a commercial crypto platform located in San Francisco, California. They exchange cryptocurrencies in 32 countries and offer management of digital asset services.
The ad was just a QR code bouncing through left and right, up and down, changing colors, and with a 90s video game audio track.
Coinbase didn’t need fancy production to gain the attention of millions.
