Supreme Court revives bullock cart race in Maharashtra

Maharashtra had filed an application through advocate Sachin Patil for vacating the stay imposed by the high court. It attached an expert committee report which said that a special breed of bulls which are anatomically slender can run and such bulls are trained and fed by families since time immemorial to participate in the race.

A CBI officer rejected Indrani Mukerjea’s stunning claim that Sheena Bora, the 25-year-old daughter she is accused of killing is alive. The officer said the DNA analysis of recovered femur bones and cervical bones exhumed in 2015 concluded that Indrani was the biological mother of the dead woman.
