In Concord Recreation’s middle school boys’ division, the Blue Knights beat Lime Green, 56-19. The Knights’ offense was led by Will Bailey with eight points, followed by Abel Ahadi with seven. Oballa Ojullo led the team in rebounds and Gavin Lahey anchored the defense.
Andover Outing Club and Proctor Academy are co-hosting the NH State Nordic Combined Championships on Sunday at the Proctor Ski Area in Andover. Opening ceremonies start at 9:45 a.m. Ski jumpers and cross country skiers ages 3-57 from three states will compete. Competition starts at 10 a.m. on the 10-meter jump and will be followed by competitions on the 18-, 30-, and 38-meter jumps. Jumping will be followed by cross country races. World Cup commentator Peter Graves and Olympian Nick Fairall are announcing the meet.
Hillsboro-Deering High School spring sports registration is open online at hdsd.org/Page/1465. Parents/guardians need to fill out all of the forms and information requested. Sign-ups will be available through March 18. HDHS is offering baseball, softball, boys’ lacrosse, girls’ lacrosse, and track and field. All sports begin March 21.
Concord Little League registration is open for children ages 4-13 in the following towns: Concord, Bow, Hopkinton, Henniker, Penacook and Loudon. Register at concordnhlleaugue.com. Five levels of baseball are offered: tee-ball (A), coach pitch (AA), minors (AAA), majors and a new intermediate league (13 year olds, play on a 50/70 diamond that is larger than the 46/60 little league size). Concord Northeast Baseball and Softball registration is now open. Concord Northeast offers t-ball (ages 4-6), softball (8U through age 16), and baseball (coach pitch, AA/AAA, majors, and Babe Ruth (up to age 15). Softball is open to Concord residents. T-ball and baseball are open to kids who live in, or attend school, in Concord, Hopkinton or Pembroke. Registration and additional information can be found at concordnortheast.com. Everett Arena public ice skating hours will be Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday hours are from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday hours will also be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission will be $6 for skaters and free for children ages 3 and under. NH Lightning Softball College Showcase Team’s camp for players age 7-12 will be on Monday from 9 a.m. to noon (registration starts at 8:30 a.m.) at Concord Sports Center, 2 Whitney Road. Sign up at nhlightning.com. Cost is $50.

NH State Referee Committee is offering several soccer referee courses in the next few months. They involve a combination of online training, classroom and field work.
